Engineered the refitting of a 35,000 DWT ocean tank barge, with a revised notch and structure to accept a modified Intercon system set up for lightering operations. The tug LIBERTY retained her existing Intercon arrangement and now works with the 300 in Delaware Bay, lightering crude. Provision of a full FEA study for the connection-related structure on both the tug and barge for an East Coast shipping company.
